What qualities does a temperature switch have?

As already mentioned at the beginning, a temperature switch continuously monitors the temperature of a medium and triggers an electrical switching process as soon as a predefined value (also known as the switching point) is reached. Whether this becomes active or not depends on the temperature. Depending on this, the temperature switch triggers a shutdown of the system or starts ventilation if the switching point is exceeded. How does a temperature switch work?

In principle, the way a temperature switch works is as simple as it is ingenious.
